Deep South Speedway officials said today that there has been some confusion about the race program set for this weekend concerning the rain-out from a couple of weeks ago. Deep South will run a regular scheduled race this Saturday night, July 12, which will be considered the make-up race. Only one feature will be run since the program was shortened by rain on June 28^th and no features were run.

 According to track owner Bill Webb, the speedway will honor the pit and grandstand arm bands purchased for the June 28^th race Saturday night. “Since we only ran the heat races on the 28^th, we will simply run the program again, but we will lock the heat winners into their front row stating positions,” Webb explained. “Anybody that wants to come that wasn’t here on the 28^th will still get to race heat races for positions in the features, except for the pole sitters,” he added.

 The full racing schedule is slated to be on tap from GM Performance Crate late models to the mighty Stingers. Get there early and grab your favorite seat and hold on for some of the most exciting racing in the gulf coast area. Pit gates and grandstand areas open at 5 P.M. with exciting racing action set to begin around 7:30.
